FAQ – packing and used clothing from the USA

We prepare every batch for sea and land transport, and we source our raw material from the East Coast of the USA. Below we have gathered answers to the questions our wholesale buyers ask most often: about packaging, container capacity and the origin of the goods.
What packaging do you deliver used clothing in?

We pack goods in three standards matched to the product range and market requirements:

  • Bags 20-25 kg
  • Small bales 45-55 kg
  • Large bales 400-450 kg

We label every package with a barcode that simplifies inventory control after unloading.

How much used clothing fits in a 20 ft container, a 40 ft container and a TIR trailer?

Capacity depends on the type of transport unit:

UnitCapacity
20 ft container10-12 tonnes
40 ft HC container23-27 tonnes
Trailer (TIR)22-24 tonnes

Our team distributes the weight and secures the bales to make the most of the loading space while keeping the goods safe.

How do you protect the goods against moisture and damage during sea transport?

We use bags and bale wraps made of a material that breathes yet stays waterproof. We choose only high-quality, tear-resistant packaging - we tested several options and went with the strongest. Before every load, our staff member inspects the container for leaks so the goods reach the destination port dry and intact.

Can I order used clothing under my own brand (private label)?

Yes. For large orders and ongoing cooperation, we adjust the bale weight to your market's requirements and prepare custom labeling with your company name. This lets you build recognition for your own brand right from the delivery stage.

Which American brands turn up in used clothing from the USA?

Globally recognized brands appear regularly in our goods, including: Levi's, Under Armour, Nike, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, GAP, Ralph Lauren, Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, Hollister, Champion, Columbia, Old Navy, Michael Kors, Guess, Wrangler, Lee, Timberland, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Vineyard Vines, Patagonia, The North Face. A high share of premium and mid-range brands raises the commercial value of every batch.

How does used clothing from the USA differ from goods from the UK and Germany?

Used clothing from the USA stands out in several ways:

  • A high share of premium brands in a single batch.
  • Rich color variety, especially in children's clothing.
  • A large volume of sportswear and casual wear, for which demand holds up all year round.
  • Solid material quality, valued by end buyers.
Which US regions does your used clothing come from?

We source our raw material from the East Coast of the USA - New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. These are affluent, economically developed regions where residents refresh their wardrobes regularly. As a result, goods from these states carry a large share of premium brands and clothing in very good condition.
